Sites of Horror

March 2010 issue 9

Black Hole DVD Reviews
Lucky us, we ran across a site called Black Hole DVD Reviews where they do some serious movie review blogging. Check out the number of reviews these guys do every year for their fans. Most of their reviews are classic movies, but the description below the header says it best: “Horror films and offbeat cinema. Suggested without spoiling. Different decades and different countries.”

Horror World
Some of the hardest working people in the horror industry happen to be just a mouse click away. You’ve probably seen their reviews, contests, and links scattered across the internet, if you have the slightest interest in horror. And you might have even had a chance to hear a podcast or two. But if you haven’t been over to Horror World yet, then what are you waiting for? There is nothing horror that this band of merry gorehounds won’t uncover for their fans.

The Bloody Blog: Reflections From the Asylum
Author/critic/reviewer S.D. Hintz is one of the rare industry pros that knows how best to put his money where his mouth is. If he loves something, he works tirelessly at helping it get the notice it needs in the horror world. By using his site, reviews, and radio interviews, he has managed to call to light some of otherwise overlooked treasures in the world of horror literature. Some authors would do well to pass along a royalty check or two to this guy for his efforts on their behalf.
But don’t let that fool you: he knows how to have a good time and makes no bones about posting some pretty hilarious, self-deprecating journal entries for his fans to enjoy.
So if you’re in the mood to find something cool to read, or just want to giggle at his expense, stop by his Bloody Blog.
